ABOUT THE ARTIST

The greatest thing about being an artist is being able to create anything, making it come to life. Making one's dreams and fantasy a reality. As much as I connect with art on an emotional level, nothing beats being able to inspire others to create and be true to themselves. The creation of my main character, Black Ice, allowed me to visually cope with my mental strife, in which through her fantastical appearance, she connected me back with reality.

MJ/Dracan is from Staunton, Virginia. She is going to start her freshmen year at the Ringling College of Art and Design, for Computer Animation, in the fall of 2022. She enjoys animated films (un-shockingly), hiking, and overall just taking in every moment life brings.
